Driven by a passion for people and construction, Steven Mezzacappa is a 4th year student at Penn State majoring in Architectural Engineering with a focus in Construction Management. Steven strives to a make a difference through his passions for construction and relationships with others.
Steven has completed three internships with Turner Construction Company working on major projects in Philadelphia ranging from Lincoln Financial Field to FMC Tower, a 50-story mixed-use high-rise. Aside from pursuing his dream of building skyscrapers across the world, Steven also has a deep passion for Philanthropy and Non-Profit work.
Being involved in the Penn State Dance Marathon since starting school at Penn State, Steven was recently an OPPerations Construction Captain for THON 2015. Steven was also one of the founding officers of Bridges to Prosperity's Student Chapter at Penn State where he recently served as organization's second President. Throughout his involvement in Penn State Bridges to Prosperity, Steven has empowered community members in completing two pedestrian footbridges in Panama throughout the passed two years. Steven will now be serving as the Bridges to Prosperity University Ambassador for the Student Chapter of Messiah College.
Steven is currently developing and working to start an international Non-Profit organization that seeks to help others develop a passion with purpose through empowering, inspiring, and encouraging others.
